Hosking
Associates was founded by Louise Hosking in July 2005.
Having overseen safety within Savills, a leading property
consultant, for nearly 5 years she saw the need in the market
for a safety provider who could work within a company to
provide high level management expertise and guidance within
this discipline.
Louise
was the first person to work internally at Savills as a
safety professional. Initially appointed to oversee safety
within the commercial property management department this
role soon expanded to cover all areas of the business including
rural estate management, new homes, residential management
and lettings across 70 UK offices.
This
work involved the development, from scratch of a bespoke
safety management system and rolling this out to Savills
diverse businesses via a small team capable of self funding
and external consultants.
Prior
to this Louise worked as a consultant principally within
the property, leisure and construction industries for blue
chip clients and has also worked for a national UK retailer.
After graduating from Nottingham Trent University in 1991
she worked as an enforcement officer for Cambridge City
Council where she led several successful prosecutions on
behalf of this local authority.
